Kathmandu, June 12 — The National Examination Board (NEB) is in the final stage of publishing the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2081. The exams were held from Chaitra 7 to Chaitra 19, 2081 (March 20 to April 1, 2025), across 2,079 exam centers nationwide.
According to NEB sources, all preparations for the result announcement have been completed. A board meeting has been scheduled for today to finalize and approve the results. A board official stated, “No major problems have occurred. We are ready to publish the results today.”
This year, a total of 514,071 students appeared in the SEE exam — a notable rise compared to 464,785 students last year.
The results will be based on the Grading System 2078, introduced on Poush 7, 2078, and updated on Falgun 17. This system will determine students’ grades without using marks, focusing instead on performance levels.
The SEE is a crucial exam for students completing Grade 10 in Nepal, and the results will decide their entry into higher secondary education.
Despite delays caused by teacher protests earlier this year, the NEB has worked efficiently to publish the results on time as per the revised schedule.
