Kathmandu, June 16 — The National Examination Board (NEB) has stated that the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2081 will be published by the third week of Asar.

Dr. Ganesh Bhattarai, Controller of Examinations for Grade 10, said the delay this year is largely due to disruptions caused by ongoing protests from teachers, which led to a late start in the answer sheet evaluation process. Although the NEB had initially aimed to publish the results within three months of the exam’s conclusion, the delay pushed back the timeline by several weeks.

“Most of the answer sheet evaluations have been completed, and the marks have now reached the central processing center,” Bhattarai informed. He added that the process of digitizing the marks is actively underway.

The protest, spearheaded by the Nepal Teachers’ Federation in Kathmandu, stalled the checking process for nearly a month, creating challenges for timely result publication.

Even with these problems, NEB officials say they will do everything they can to stick to the new schedule and share the results by the third week of Asar. Parents and students all over the country are eagerly anticipating the result, which will have a major impact on their future academic paths.
